Last night at the hometown concert of your all-time favorite band, you screamed like a little girl, laughing and full of excitement. You videoed every time he spoke and rewatched those moments as soon as we got home. You held my hand and danced with me. Seeing you so happy brought me a special kind of happiness - one I think that might be exclusive to married couples. Nevertheless, it was awesome.

Big little things
You can read my mind.
And in the middle of the night when I wake up and can't fall back to sleep, I am not upset or scared. Your breathing soothes me.
You did an extra load of laundry so I could have underwear to wear tomorrow.
You said that dinner was awesome twice tonight.
You had fallen asleep already but when I wanted to turn down the tv, you did it for me.
You have kept me in your profile picture on facebook.
You just made horse sounds in your sleep.
You let me put up wedding decorations in the house even though they are girly and don't match.
You are taking classes on how to be a Lutheran for me.
You agreed to join the praise band.
You have coffee with me after church and you're always just as hungry as I am.
You make me laugh. Splitting your pants and breaking your belt in one day?! Ha!
You rewind the tv and watch the same lines over and over again. Your giggles are my favorite sound in the whole world.

Wake up call
You don't mind at all whenever I wake you up - be it to say "Hi" or give a kiss or to say that I miss you. I'm gonna keep waking you up.
Also, I love your rapture-themed version of "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go." There are none like you.
Not outta gas
You borrowed my car last night and put a full tank of gas in it. You don't even do that in your car!

Let me count the ways...
I think about things to put in this blog a hundred times a day. And to clarify - I didn't marry you because I expected these things. They're just some of the many ways God blesses me through you. You do these amazing things and I get it. I get why you are the one and only happily ever after for me.
Today, for instance, you went into work (after working Saturday, too) because it is important to you to be good at your job. You came home before you were done to help me load up my car and then went back to work. This morning you took me to my church. You sensed just the right time to put your arm around me. Next week you are starting a class that will teach you more about my church. You don't complain. You are my rock.
Women around the world congregate to vent about their spouses. I can't be as amazing as you. But I vow to appreciate you and shout my adoration from the rooftops. And spend the rest of my life thanking you for marrying me.
